    Life is Tough
Felt like taking pictures, didnt feel like going anywhere, so I went across the room to the cat sleeping by the window, first one, she was facing the window, so the light is from outside.

For this second one, she was facing away from the window, so I turned on a lamp and used a lower shutter speed while resting the camera on the bed.

"Oh what a life it must be...to do nothing....and then rest"

The life of a cat is so awesome. Nice idea for shooting without having to venture into the cold.

I like how in the 2nd one you've caught the sense of rest without the usual closed eye squints cats tend to give you when they know you are looking at them ... and yet are too lazy to open their eyes and acknowledge you. Nice use of available lighting on the first one but a slower shutter speed would definitely reduced the shadows.

    Nice stuff Mr. Yuck

Since this was handheld against the window, the reshoot will probably involve 200ISO, no room for a tripod and no image stabilization built into my camera.

    Thanks Jaedon.

I think that if you got closer on the first image, making just the eyes the subject, it would be stronger. As these stand, I'm not sure they hold enough interest.
