Nice shots to me. I'm not sure you have any 1st place winners in the lot, but I like their color, simplicity, and mood. The middle one has a really dreamy touch. A wider angle on the bottom one would have been better. The sun is a little burned out in the shots - seems like this happens with digital a lot.

i like the first shot alot, i like how you split the frame and just the bird offsets it :) It looks a bit blurry ? But that is my fav of the lot !

A higher f/stop would have helped to make both the background and foreground in the 2nd and 4th pictures crisper. Not sure if it would produce a better picture or not, would have to see it.

Thanks GB (and everyone) for the input. This is another shot I'd taken a little further back than I was in the last shot. I used my pop up flash to add a bit of light to the grass on both of them, but the distance was a bit too far on this one I think. I thought the colors were weaker in this one overall.

I believe a lot of the newer digitals are better at dealing with the sun in shots. My sister-in-law bought a new Nikon (I didn't get the model) and she had far less problems with burn out and flares than I do.

    Thanks...
