Learning PS elements...

I'm learning and practicing. Any feedback? This is my 17 yo son...zoomed in and not cropped.

This is a very pleasing portrait. Your son is a very handsome young man with incredible eyes! Way to show them off by using the selective color technique. I think you have done a very effective job. Nice work. :)

I'm generally not a fan of selective colored eyes, but these are pretty subtle. You might want to try just straight b&w, and bump up the contrast a bit. His expression will probably be able to make it work.

Thank you for the suggestion. I'll give it a try. He's usually not much of a subject but was being cooperative that day. I've ordered books from the library to try to learn more about PSE...hopefully they are easy to understand!
