Late evening over the Walnut St. Bridge
Captured this scene just before sunset. The Walnut Street bridge is a pedestrain walk bridge in downtown Chattanooga.
Any comments would be greatly appreciated.
thanks,

Terrific. Must be great in a print.

Scott,
That is a great shot! Did the colors look like that to your eye? Just fantastic. My only comment is that the composition is a little centered and was wondering if a different crop might up the punch of this supurb photo.
If you get the chance (and if you took other shots), I'd love to see others in this series.
Cheers,
Tim
Re: Late evening over the Walnut St. Bridge
Knight, Chunk & Tim, thanks for the kind comments.
Tim..........this is one of those shots that you take, while your somewhere to take pictures of something else! Ha! I did however stop to see if maybe a pedestrian or rollerblader was possibly coming through to give me some kind of silhouette other than the lamp post. I did make a minor level adjustment because the sky was a little dark.
thanks again,
Scott

Great one Scott. This is a very pure, straight forward image and I mean it in the most positive way. The clouds are most pleasing and unusual by their repeating shapes.

This is fantastic. I love the repetitive pattern of the wispy clouds above and parallel to the repetitive pattern of the fence below. The coloring of the sky is quite beautiful as well.

That lonely lampost adds a depth of interest to the shot as well.
