    The Glaring Eyes

Heres a shot from the other day. Tried a little selective coloring on this photo.
Shot with the XT and my Canon EF 75-300mm 1:4-5.6 II that I bought from some older fellow for 40$ haha.
Please let me know what you think of this shot, it would be greatly appreciated.

Well, I'm an older fellow, but I like your shot anyway. Most of the time I don't like selective coloring, but it seems appropriate and really works here.

New here and I must say WOW. I love the selective coloring here. I myself have not been to lucky in the shots that I would like to use selective coloring on. the background always seems to get in the way. Very nice job.

    This is very epic.

Great shot, I'm kinda a fan of selective color, even though a lot of times it comes off cliche', but you did a really good job with this.

Good job. I really like this photo. Great sharpness and colouring!

Only a tiny bit more room under the cat, so it is looking down into the frame?

Wow, powerful eyes indeed. Your cat likes to pose. The background is slightly distracting but I think you can mitigate that somewhat by cropping off some of the right side. Great image!

Like it a lot. The selective coloring works very nicely. Great framing and dof, too.

Did you use a flash here? The lighting and sharpness are superb.

    Re: The Glaring Eyes

i used a tripod, and no flash! I was quite surprised at the sharpness of the photo myself, since the 75-300mm lense isint the sharpest tool in the shed.

    Re: The Glaring Eyes

Very nice, the depth of field is good and although I'm not a fan of selective colouring this photo really works with it. In fact I'd say it makes the shot. Great work.

Very beautiful intense stare! The selective colour works really well here also. Well done.
