Lady of Umbrellas -
High key on purpose, exposed for the black umbrella to get the blown outs. Minimal editing, slight saturation increase to get more of the model and her clothing into view.

I like it. I can't say I would change anything.

Re: Lady of Umbrellas -
Her pose isn't all that attractive. You shot from below which makes her look wider than she actually is and she seems slouched and bored.
I think #2 is a lot more effective.

I see what you mean, MB1, and I never noticed that before till you pointed it out. Hmm not much I can do now, but I'll keep that in mind for future ref :)

I like it. In fact, you gave me some ideas..
As far as the photo itself, The only thing I would do and it is nit picking is clone out that speckle on top of her head. right before the parting line.

Re: Lady of Umbrellas -
I've got a lot of cloning out to do by the look of it :D thank you JG

Wow, harsh lighting situation.. Not sure about how the umbrella is clipped off there, either.

It's deliberately high-key, trying it out :P

I like it.
It makes me feel curious as to why she is there. The harsh crop and the gaze out of the box adds to this feeling.
