In the Kitchen: Otoscope Micrographs
Re: In the Kitchen: Otoscope Micrographs
Hey Don, interesting stuff . I think Garlic and Pecan have some potential. Garlic reminds me of a satelite view of an ocean and beach. Looks like ocean washing up on shore. I don't mind the "horizon" being dead center as it somehow work in this.
Pecan has a abstract feel to it and the blur, or dof seems interesting here.
The White rice i'm just feeling has too much non useful negative space around it. the composition could be better balanced or planned. I also am not fond of the heavy posterizing artifacts from the post processing very noticeable in that one.
the others suffer a bit from what looks like oversharpening and some heavy process as well, but thats subjective really.

Thanks Gary. This is a very imperfect imaging camera. The image is very small so I enlarged it to 640 X 480. The post processing is my bungling effort to make it readible. You have to lower your standards for this stuff. I can't afford a good microscope.
