The Kitchen
Any thoughts with regard to composition, treatment, anything else?

Thanks.

Re: The Kitchen
I tend to be lazy. If it's not imbedded in the post I tend not to look at it.

Re: The Kitchen
Sorry about that. I haven't got the uploading part quite under control. Whenever I tried to upload a photo so that it was embedded in the post, I'd have to reduce the size to nothing before the upload would be accepted. Not sure why.
I asked about this in another thread and someone suggested that I just upload photos to the gallery and link from there.
EDIT: finally figured out how to embed gallery photos in posts. I'm a slow learner. :D

Re: The Kitchen
I like this one a lot. The processing is awesome. Is it an HDR?

Re: The Kitchen
Good city landscape shot.
You should be able to embed your photo if it is no more than 800 on a side and quality has to be reduced a bit. In photoshop I can reduce quality to 9 and it takes it. If I put it at 10 it rejects it.

Re: The Kitchen
I use Thumbs+ because it will allow me to tune the compression by 100 steps, not 12.
So I can tweak for maximum quality more finely.
Also it saves files a fraction smaller in progressive mode so I can get another 1 point of quality :)
I wish Lightroom had another feature on its save JPG option, target file size as well as dimensions. Then I could make 800x800 files under the size limit automagically.

Re: The Kitchen
Thanks, everybody.
Lori - :D "The Kitchen" as in Hell's Kitchen, NYC.
susaan - thanks!
Leels - Thanks - it's good old Manhattan.
Thanks SmartWombat. I'll check it out.
Likewise, Frog. I'll get the hang of it at some point (I hope!).
Greg - it was Adobe CR and CS3. And yup, a little manual HDR on this one to darken the sky (though it didn't need much).
