    Just Relaxing

She was just waiting for someone to come by!!!

I am trying to improve my random photos of people. I was using a 75-300 set at f/5.6. I was accross the road and about 15 higher in elevation.

    TIA

    Shane,

Nice shot. I love the colors, and compositionally its good. DOF is bang on, and it's very well done. My one critique would be by her feet, her body's shadow mixed with dark shoes do distract from her face. Maybe a tad brighter would be nice, just so it's not such a harsh contrast. Other then that,

    Nice shot,

    Jared

That's a great street shot. Good exposure with the shadow on the face and the background. I like this.

    Thanks for posting,

Really good shot ! and she probably never knew. You could have approached her and asked her to pose with the sun more on her than it is here, dont be shy, some are pleased and some say no. Nothing ventured, nothing gained etc etc

Okay you caught me... She is my gf and just doesn't always like to have her photo taken... The funny thing is that most people think she is mad in this photo, when in reality she was just playing around...

Thank you everyone for your comments and suggestions. Very helpful.

    Enjoy

Might have known.Let me tell you as i used to have as much hair as her and the same colour when i was in my teens: she is probably at least half mad, irish , short tempered but a great friend to have on your side. Her colour we refer to as australian gold, beautiful shine of it.Bribe her or whatever it takes but feature the hair in some head and shoulder shots and post them. Have fun.

Well, you had me for a second. That would be an interesting shot though to approach some stranger and get the bird
