That's the first thing I noticed too.

Trailing-flash sync would be the answer you two are searching for. And no, he wasn't photoshopped in if you're suspicious of that.

I think the photos are great! I really like the second one-it's so crazy that it looks fake but I believe you that it's not. I like the shadows.

I'm confused as to why the shadows completely omit you posting a critique on the whole photo rather than a small detail.

Thanks for the comment, my friend.

    Re: Head First

That first photo is absolutely amazing.
I could see the second curtain sync, and that's part of the appeal.
But if it's a photograph of him on the trampoline, why isn't the trampoline in the shot?
Oh and he needs his legs together more

    Were you using on-camera flash?
This might be better with flash off the camera, so you can light the trampoline and your brither separately and stop blowing out the highlights on the trampoline.

If anything I'd like a slower shutter speed with more blur, maybe half this shutter speed.

Thanks! It was night time, yes, it was the on-camera flash. I appreciate you commenting!

    Re: Head First

I really like the first one. The second one is more obvious about what's happening, but the first almost looks like he's falling from space.

I assumed that the "shadows" were motion artifacts from a longer exposure under low light. I have some similar pictures. Don't sweat it.
