    Strong sidelighting on this bit of weathered sandstone and a young pinyon pine.

    Jeff,

    Beautiful B&W here. I really like the textures in the rocks at the bottom and the overall lighting. My only quibble is the needles from the top of the tree kind of fade into the sky, but that's pretty minor.

    man that is cool. I think you could get more dynamic range out of some of the whites if you wanted.

    This was taken with an IR-converted Pentax DSLR. The filter has 720nm cut-off and is semi-permanently positioned in front of the sensor.
