Jericho Beach no.3
Here is another picture from the Jericho Beach series. Not being used to the west coast weather, I was surprised to see this kind of clouds on a sunny day.
Comments are welcome.

Re: Jericho Beach no.3
Seb,
I think you have a very nice shot here. I like the strong horizontal lines running thru the image. The logs, the shore line, the shore line on the oposite side, the large ship... I really like that the lines are not cutting the photo in half. I think that the vertical lines from the sails help to break up the image and lead the eye towards the clouds. Nice work!

Seb,
Great shot, and lovely area. The one thing that's a tad odd is the red buoy in the first 1/3 of the water. Other then that,
Great shot!

Seb, lots of great qualities here such as the dramatic sky, great lighting, and the boats in the water especially the sails highlighted in the light. also the person on the shore. It is a beautiful shot as it is. My feeling on this though is that there is possibly too much included here. I'm feeling that this would have been even more powerful had the shore not been included. Or at least a crop right below the logs.right now there is the same amount of shore as there is water and it seems to me to throw the comp off balance somehow. just my feeling on it

Re: Jericho Beach no.3
Lovely shot Seb. very dramatic and beautiful. The only thing that bothers me a bit is the fact that the top of the sails are right on the horizon, if they where a bit above or below the horizon it would've made this great shot even greater.

Hi Seb,
Good shot. I agree with Gary about the foreground. Also, including a person in the shot is very wise, otherwise, the yachts looks like models.

Hello guys,
Thanks for commenting. You actually noticed things that I missed when I shot this. I will remember your tips and apply them the next time I shot a similar scene.
