Im just getting started with my photography, but i love having a camera in my hands. I Took this shot over the weekend, and then played with it a little and did some editing. Let me know what you guys think

I think you have made a good start here. You have an interesting subject and a different angle than the straight on "picture of a house with flowers". I like that! John is right, the sky is over exposed but with practice you can learn to accommodate for that. Your selective color treatment is good and you've done well at keeping your selections to the pink areas of the flowers. I think, however, your original is a stronger image since the house has it's own interesting complimentary colors which go along with the flowers. Again, welcome to the forum and keep shooting.
