    studio shot

what do you all think of this shot. This was taken using electronic flash in a home made softbox. The background was painted using latex paint on a piece of poster board.
Camera settings were f8@ 1/80 sec. using an ISO of 100.Thanks in advance.

You can tell it was shot in a studio alright! That background gives it away.

The light here, I think it's a little too even for the subject. But even then, I'm not sure that flowers make a good studio subject., they're just better outdoors. But if you include the vase, it might have been better. But the background just doesn't do it for me here... this type is better for a family shot.

Anyways - Decent home setup. I thought it was a prof. backdrop at first.

You went to a lot of trouble getting this image gimp..Good choice of colours and the background doesn't detract from the over all result..I would of made it a tad darker and a bit more saturation....
