    Sunrise in the Swan Valley

This is a combination of three exposures, using photomatix. I think the colours might be a bit over the top, particularly with the sunrise. What do you think?

Normally I don't go for these types of photo's, but, perhaps if I can nail it down without making it look too fake, I might make it more permanent in my photography habits.

    Cheers.

I like the composition. I'm a sucker for winding lanes and fence lines with trees.
I can almost feel the morning nip and feel the dew.
I would do a darken highlights and increase shadows some in photoshop.
If you shot raw you can probably do even more.

I like this shot. It feels realistic and has an interesting appeal that's not too over the top. The lens flare from the sun is subtle enough to enhance the photo rather than distract from the entire scene.

    Good Work.

Re: Sunrise in the Swan Valley

    Thanks

I have yet to have a a play with this in Raw. I'll have a crack at it and see how it comes out. I have a bit of CA in the top left hand corner, which is probably the only thing stopping me from printing it out. Does anyone know how to get rid of it?

I use Lightroom's CA corrections for really wide angle shots.
Wide open my 24-70 shows magenta/cyan in the corners.
