    Re: Sunset

I think here, the sunset is not that obvious. I mean it's not the usual sunset pics most have seen all right. I don't see any pretty colors, for example. As is, the top part of the trees seem to be drawing a diagonal line across the photo from the top right hand corner down to the bottom left hand corner. Perhaps that's what you wanted, i.e. to make a photo that contrast the empty sky on one side with all the trees and other stuff on the ground on the other side of the photo. If it's really a photo about the sunset, then I don't find the empty sky helps here. Overall, in my very subjective opinion, I think this photo could use some improvements.

    Re: Sunset

My only comment is where is the ground?
    Exposure is good.

    Re: Sunset

    Did the photos upload correctly?

There is no foreground, the sky isn't all that colorful. I and see that they aren't the same image but they don't say "sunset" to me and there doesn't seem to be any particular object to draw the viewer into the image.
    No, I DON'T need that.

    Re: Sunset

They do make me wonder what the subject was here. They aren't bad, but I get the feeling that the scene was much better in person. A wider angle would have helped to show more context.
