Indian Summer Sunset

I gave it a 15 second exposure to get the surface of the Tidal Basin nice and silky.

Some great colors i would crop off some of the sky and water and from the building on in to mid of shot

Great job on the exposure. I think was a good choice and did not blow out any lights on the Lincoln (Jefferson?) Memorial.
I like the composition and the colors are beautiful.
My only suggestion would be to crop a bit off the bottom where the colors start to fade out...about a 1/2 inch. I would leave the sky the way it is because the clouds help to draw you back to the horizon.

I like it the way it is. The lack of color at the edges then the rush forward (it really does show movement to me) into the color is what draws me. Beautiful capture.

That is the Jefferson Memorial and the Tidal Basin. You have to show up early, set up, then wait until exposing for the brightly lit memorial also correctly exposes the sky. You have about 5 minutes to get everything just right (if the sky is too bright the memorial looks dull, if the sky is too dark the memorial overpowers everything).

There was a bit of a breeze so the water was fairly choppy. I gave it a 15 second exposure to smooth out the surface of the water. Looks great on a monitor but the long exposure and the wind makes the detail edges blurry if I enlarge it.

A nice mood you've caught. You've done a wonderful job to balance the values throught the frame. I like having the dark areas as counterbalance to the color. One suggestion would be to the color balance in the monument and its reflection to compensate for the artificial lighting and make it less yellow/greenish.

Beautiful shot. Great colors, sharp and well-framed. I really like the silk-like texture of the water and how it plays off the sky.

I guess you could crop a bit off the top and bottom but really I don't think it would improve the shot that much. The only thing I might've done different camera-wise is zoom in more, which would give a different net effect than just cropping afterward.

Beautiful shot. My only suggestion is to crop tighter but keep the current proportions. Also, is that Venus in the sky or a bit of dust? Nice work.

Beautiful scene. The left area is a bit too dark and un-needed. I would crop off the left almost up to the building, and off the bottom to maintain the aspect ratio. Good capture
