I see you
I have decided that I want to make a 2006 calendar featuring some of my photos to give out for Christmas next year. This is one of the images that I have chosen for the calendar. What are your thoughts?

WOW, JUST WOW! This is an AMAZING shot, ow on earth did you get that close (zoom aside) to get a picture. I would have thought that it would have run away on first glance! I would definitely include this in a Calandar, it's pro!

Thanks for the comments MG. She was standing just off the road and I took this shot, and several others from the car. I had my 170-300mm lens set to 170 for this shot. She wasn't in any hurry to leave because I think she had a fawn or two on the other side of the road waiting for us to leave so they could catch up with her. I have another one from the same spot, same setting but the head isn't as clear. I wish it were because that one doesn't have the left side of her cut off. :( I guess I could try to piece them together if I feel ambitious later.
Thanks again!

Re: I see you
Michael, I wouldn't change a thing -- the position the Doe is in makes an interesting curve balanced by the bright colored leaves on the right -- a definite keeper in my book and should make you a terrific calendar shot.

This shot has personality. I'd definitely use it for the calendar. Excellent capture.

Thanks for all the comments everyone. I went to the lab yesterday and printed this image on the Fuji Pictography 3500. They came out great! I made an 8x5 to frame and hang in the house, and an 11xsomething to add to my portfolia sort of speak.
Thanks again everyone!!
