    Re: The Wall

    Interesting.

I wonder about cropping from the right, and top.
From the top to lose that bright white cloud touching the wall of the memorial.
From the right to the edge of the woman's white blouse, so losing the crowd behind her.
So that it focuses more on her, and her reflection.

The problem is cloning to fill in behind her back and legs to remove the left over bits of people...

Despite the technical photo things, this is a moving image.
I agree with PAul on the cropping and the cloning would be touchy but with care could be done.

I agree with the above suggested cropping so as to intensify the focus on the important. And, I think it is very cool how the presence of the patriotic red, white and blue are captured! Emotional picture for sure.

    Re: The Wall

I like the idea of cropping the first image. I think it might be just a tad too bright, but I like it.
I'm a beginner photographer experimenting with lighting, and different editing techniques in photoshop cs3, and paint shop pro.

I'd like critiques from both sides of the camera. A photographer's point of view, and what you would like to see if the picture was of you (or your child) and you'd paid to have these taken. My ultimate goal is to improve my technique and style, and be the best that I can be.

    Your help is appreciated!
