Horse Harness

The reflection in this horse's colonial era harness caught my eye. My immediate feeling is I should have blurred the background. Any other thoughts?
p.s. image quality dropped down a little bit to make for faster loads.

Very nice contrast and sharp quality. Background is fine as the subject is so sharp and clear to stand out strong. The reflection is a treat. Nicely done. I would only suggest that you clean up the image after the scan. ie. the dust spots and the squiggley little fibers in the upper third of the frame. I usually just clone these sort of things out as I find it more effective than any dust removal programs.

Nice and contrasty (and sharp), as noted. I will say that for a non-horseman, it's not necessarily clear what you're looking at (minus the caption). I know a little bit about saddles and horses and riding, but I don't know that I would've made the harness connection, had you not spelled it out.
