Nice capture Tuna (as usual) you get really nice contrast with your shots which still escapes me in mine. Can you tell me what lens you used here. S

tuna .. what a gift seeing those people and their postures! And you have a gift too for seeing scenes like that. In my view though, there is a problem in that the "hope" character is out of focus. As this is almost a "triptych" in miniature, I tend to think that all three need to be more or less in focus for it to work, at least as you intended. As it is, my eye keeps going to the very prominent near-side figure and then I get disturbed by the lack of focus. Just my view though.

Yes, it's sad that our hunger and despair is often much more in focus than our hopes...

Mike, I too would have liked to have had a deeper depth of focus but shooting handheld in existing light forced a wider opening of the aperture causing the loss of something and here it was hope.

S, this was shot with a Voigtlander 35/1.7 Ultron lens.

Another great shot Tuna, I guess you were shooting wide open. I am amazed at the low speeds I can shot with with my M6.
