    Hong Kong Skyline

I like the contrasts between the new drab buildings in the background and the vivid colours of the old temple.

You got your settings spot on for this one Jurgen; perfect focus and exactly the correct amount of blur. Pity the nice greenery was there as it would be better I feel to see the lower parts of the highrises.
I've been back a few more times looking at that shot of the lovely old lady; it is such a lovely shot.

Jurgen - I think this shot would have worked better if there were some people or something in the foreground there. Leaning against the wall at the bottom, etc, would have worked perfect.

I agree GB1. A human presence would add a lot here.

    Re: Hong Kong Skyline

I like the contrast in old and new and colors and bland as you pointed out. I am not feeling that a human element need be here, I just keep wishing there was not that tree underneath the roof. If this was shot from a perspective where the tree were not in the frame(much easier said than done, I know) the roof would really cut across and stand out incredibly. Just my feeling on what could be room for improvement here, but still a strong shot.
