    That window was a pain

While eating lunch we heard a thump and saw a quick blur out the window.
One of our favorite little ones had flown into the glass and was laying in the chair just under the window.
It was COLD so I picked it up and in my hands and the sunshine got it warmed up. After a few minutes it recovered and flew away.
I'd like to hear how to improve on my pictures.
Most of the shots I take show up on the computer in the 3000KB range, and when open with IrfanView show up at 3456x2592 picks OR 48x36 inches.
These were reduced to 800x600 and convert to 11.11x8.33 inches.
After making color/saturation adjustments & reducing I sharpened one time and that is what you see.
Thanks to all who reply. Norris

I prefer the second shot the best. The hand gives you the size perspective with our zooming out, 1st and 3rd pics. Not sure what the difference is between the 2nd and 4th but still prefer the 2nd. They are a little light but not too bad.

Well, that's one way to get close enough. :-) Very nice. The eyes and detail on the 2nd and 4th (same???) are wonderful. #3 may be over-saturated. I can see purple in the black head feathers (may be my monitor). - TF
