A bit many to critic. I will say that in 1-3 and 5, I wish there were more contrast/detail in the center/subjects. I do really like how the lights turned out in the night shots though.
mostly Nikon gear
Feel free to edit my images for critique, just let me know what you did.
I like the the second and third one. With that said I think you could take the second one and skew out the distortion and then crop it left, right and top eliminate the sign. I think this would focus more attention and detail to the fountain. If you want me to try an edit I will. You also might consider trying to clone the lights just at the edge of the fountains rim leaving the two left and right. Lights like that can be a pain to clone though.
You have very nice symmetry wish is always a nice thing. Good work.
The skewing tools in PS are great to know how to use if you are going to do this type photography.
I am like Barney Fife, I have a gun but Andy makes me keep the bullet in my pocket..
Greg, I actually have a shot similar to what you suggest. Personally, I like this angle, with the sign better. I may try to fix the skew and see how that looks.
I really like how the exposures are nicely controlled in all of these. even while pulling all the blue from the blue hour shots, u managed to keep the lights from over exposing.
the perspective distortion takes away from those shots i think.
