High Contrast Series: Winding Path
Another one in my High Contrast Series, but this one was done a little differently, I left a little more detail in the image.....
What do you think??

Re: High Contrast Series: Winding Path
I really like it... I really enjoy highly contrast(y) photos, though I do find the "splotch" in the upper middle to be a bit distracting, otherwise, I think the fence and ground is fantastic.
Re: High Contrast Series: Winding Path
What's wrong with the original photo?
Re: High Contrast Series: Winding Path
Nothing is "wrong" with the original photo.... I just really am into the high contrast look right now..... Something different.
xystren.... thanks! I completely overlooked that splotch...(I fixed it :) )
Here is the original Photo:

Chow, I like this alot. Actually, after seeing the original I think I prefer it over the high contrast but both offer something quite powerful merley because your composition here is very good as well as the subject. The winding fence leads me into the darkness in the bg a lets me settle in mystery.
Really well done.

I think with that fix it hits the mark!
Re: High Contrast Series: Winding Path
Hey Chow - Congrats on the sticky!! I find the effect interesting here, but you might tone it down just a tad and see how that works too. You might also consider cropping out the top 1/4 of the photo because it is just so dark I really don't see it adding anything - the point was made in the bottom half. Again, congrats.. Try this effect on some faces too!
