    Henna Hi-5

Not a project or anything, just chasing the 3 year old around the botanic gardens on Capitol Hill this afternoon and this little trinket caught my eye. I thought is was fun and that I would share. Please feel free to offer your opinions...

I love the color and pattern of the hand! Personally, I like the lack of focus on the fingertips and wrist because it makes the palm just so much stronger. My only nitpicks have nothing to do with your work. It's the people who put the display together. How they could take such a great display, put it into such a great surface but then put it in that awful yellow ring! I might have liked that ring under different circumstances, but not here. The colors of the hand and surface are too rich and earthy. While it would be a shame to lose the richness of the wood, I think this one might benefit from becoming B&W because of that yellow.

Nice, I think the noise adds to it also.
