Help!!! picking pictures for my college portfolio.

hi. me again. this time I have a few pictures at this url. I hope it works for most of you. it has most of the pictures that I am going to include in my college portfolio. I'm going to try to get in for broadcasting television but they like to see my photographic work. I also think that photography would be a hard industry to get into so as much as I like taking pictures, I dont think I could make a good living right off the bat. comments are welcome. I know I should have numbered them but any input would be greatly appreciated. http://gallery.photographyreview.com...sort=1&cat=500

I will have to say that of all of them, the only one that is worthy of submitting to someone who will be judging you would be the flower shot. The flower shot is very good as far as composition, focus and the little circles of light in the background. The other photos are, in my opinion, little more than snapshots. If you have any others you would like to show , i would be glad to look. Just my honest opinion

I would agree with Gary on this the flower is the only one that grabbed me.

I think the flower is the best shot.

I also like the snowboarder coming off the railing, but there's a lot of distractions in the photo that make it difficult to concentrate on him. I tried a crop here, maybe you can play with it some more and make it even better.

I would have said the flower too, but, then someone else might have a different opinion. After all these opinions you may still want to go with what is right in your heart.
Helps knowing how other people see your work though.

Re: Help me pick pictures for my college portfolio plz.

    Hello,
The images already mentioned I like, but I also like the pic of the guy on the skateboard reflected in the puddle. I think that's an interesting capture. My overall impression of your portfolio page is a bit jumbled though. It reminds of a scrap book album more than a presentation package and gives the viewer a hard time of deciding what to look at in detail. Maybe limiting the number of images displayed and at slightly larger more uniform sizes or at least mats would make it a little easier to digest for the general public. Good luck with your TV aspirations!

thanks for all of your imput! its good too because I wasnt planning on using the flower either! The reason its so jumbled is just because I wanted to put all of the pictures togethor somehow so that they could all be seen without me uploading a bunch of pictures. so I can see how its not very organized. I'm also going to submit 3 film pictures that I'm too lazy to scan but think ther prety good. They kind of look like they were taken on a holga toy camera and I like those pictures alot. thanks for the help
