He might as well be Smiling!

I thought I caught a pretty good moment hear and I was just wondering what other people thought of the shot. Thanks for any interest and input, I am still working at photography and would love to view any comments as lessons.

Looks like your dog was enjoying being out in the field.

I like your composition of this image even though it is a little busy.....good balance and the dog is framed well. I get the impression I'm in the paddock with the dog.

I see what you mean about the "smile". Maybe a closer crop featuring the dog more prominantly or using your DOF to blur the background (especially the tree just behind the dog's head) would help the viewer focus on the dog and see what you see.

Yes, great photo, I feel that I am there with the dog... I might go the other way with the DOF and increase it... To get more detail from the whole shot.
