    Harder than I thought?
I've looked at recent work of fireworks, What you are about to see is not a very flattering location.Show up early or this is the view you get.My first attempt at Fireworks. It's an experiment to say the least.I have alot to learn as you can see. Here is the brutal reality.LOL 10mm #1. 20mm 2,3.

    Thanks,Help... :mad2: LOLRick

Other than location it seems the exposure was good. I kind of like the caution tape though.

    Thanks Greg,
Arrived to the show late, people were settled in.It would have been nice to get the Stanford tower in better view.
Yeah, I liked the way the tape pulls you in on image 1 (8 second shutter).
I'm going back tonight to Shoreline Mountain View fireworks show. I'll take what I've learned, try to represent.

The third shot looks a little blown out in the middle but the first 2 came out great Rick :) Well done especially for being your first attempt!

    The first one's AWESOME!!

I love the location! The yellow tape and the different colored light all add to the shot. A crop to remove some of the dead space at top and left might make it a bit stronger, but that's one I would print.

    Great job.

    P.S."surprised!",
I'm glad to hear the feedback. I wanted to show more of the architecture of Stanford University. I did showup late, set up in a big hurry. I love what that Sigma does at 10mm.
