Maybe, depending on what it is displayed with.
I'm wondering what it would look like if you had been straight on to it. A bit sharper, perhaps.
I like the colors and textures and the blue 8 adds the right amount of contrast.

When I see "The Wall" I always think of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial.

Like Frog I too wonder what it would look like if you were squared on the "8". I'm thinking that this one might be better either in B&W or with really saturated colors/

Frog - Oh, yeah. I did take several straight on, guess I should have posted them at the same time. Here they are.

I agree that they're not super sharp. I didn't bring my tripod and resizing them seems to have affected the sharpness too (even after sharpening them at the end). I was on a hunt for a good place to pose a fashion model against a dirty background (her idea)..

MB - A bw version of one. I played with the saturation, looked overly 'manipulated' to me. I'm always on guard for that, unless I bump it up really high to exaggerate an effect.......

Funny, I never equated The Wall with the Vietnam Vets. I guess I equate it more with Pink Floyd.

The "8" is lost in the B&W.

Stick with color for this one.

I'd have a hard time choosing the best except I think b/w doesn't work in this one.
