    K9

I'd love to read your comments, suggestions, and critiques on this one. It was shot with a Nikon D200 and 70-200mm f/2.8 at ISO 400, f/2.8, and a shutter speed of 1/5000.

I don't know how you could improve. Great timing, good expression from dog and boy, good focus, dof is just right so you see the crowd and that they are entertained yet the emphasis is on the subject matter. The boy's shirt is a bit blown out but that doesn't bother me because his face is just right. All IMHO.

    Re: K9

The composition and timing of the shot is really good....I have tried to photograph my dads dogs without much success with their fast moves. You did really well in this one.
My only nit pick is that the subjects are a bit soft...no big deal rally but if you want just add some sharpening in PS or similar to add more of a crispy look it good look a little better IMO.

Amazing action shot. the composition worked out perfectly. your dof is great and the colours are popping out of the screen. nicely done!

to nitpick. those trucks in the bg!! i wish they weren' there, but i understand that you couldn't do anything about that.

This photo has so many things to fix, but since everyone seems to like it I won't say anything... Are you kidding me?

To be honest, I think you're just showing off...

There is one thing... maybe a single millimeter of a crop to remove that flare/white spot at the edge of the truck towards the top center

But I love every element actually.... bravo... awesome capture!

Great shot. Has it all. Tells story, subject focus sharpness, background adding to mood.
    Love it.
