    Tucker - Dog

    Here is one of the first pictures I have taken with my SLR - what do you think?

    I think the one big thing for me is that red fire hydrant in the background. It's very very distracting because of it's bright color. Maybe if you took the image and converted it to B&W and burn down the background a little, it would take my attention straight to the dog.

    Very nice shot over all though. The doggy is nice and crisp and in focus.

    It's well exposed, has a creative depth of field, and emotion too. To me, it's almost a fire dept recruitment poster. The dog's hair is a wild card.

    Yup....too much background, not enough dog.
    Exposure is good.
    I'd rather the eyes were in sharp focus instead of the nose.
