    Guitar - number 3

I went down again tonight to see what I could do different. I'm not able to get the light to look the same as in the original, so I tried other things. Once I got it looking similar, but it wasnt good enough. I like the angle more in these two shots from tonight (out of about 45 total), and I'll let you tell me what you think about the rest... (remember that there is a bit of quality lost when I resize these)

    And the newest...

That's just a swirl I made when I was playing around with the light. I took a lot of photos and I just decided to upload these, although there might be better ones, it's hard to tell.

Dave - Still some wash out on the bridge. The new lighting here is different - better imo, but that's subjective. I don't know what to say about the sharpness issue. There must be a way to prevent the loss - I went to a photo expo and someone was demoing some PS plugin that did an incredible sharpening, much better than the default PS one. Will shoot you the link if I can find the brochure. Might be worth a look around the internet to see if there's an affordable one.

I just need to clean up my computer and see if that helps, because it just started to do this to me. But you get the overall idea of how the photo looks. It is actually quite a bit sharper than what you see here, at least along the fine lines. I might pist up some of the other shots I did and see if any of those are any better than these two. I was choosing between eight of them, each with different light patterns when I chose these. Is the bridge really too blown out? I don't seem to notice it all that much, at least not like I did in the second shoot.

I'll see what others have to say and I'll post back here tonight, probably with one or two different shots.
