    At the pond

Many times I end up shooting a totally different thing than what I originally had in mind, and this time I carried a bunch of things from 11mm to 300mm , tripod and flash

Went there looking for reflection of trees at a water channel
which I did not like ...
Instead found this huge drops sitting atop the leafs of this plant, took a few shots with the macro lens

    Thanks for looking

    Any comments or suggestions ?

    Re: At the pond

The water droplet's definitely the subject Armando. It's very sharp. and that area of the image is very nicely exposed. My only complaint is that there may be just too many other things happening, like the little sticks, the out of focus leaves on the upper left, and the little imperfections on the leaves, etc. Not sure I like the blur, but I know macros produce this. Good eye for this though. Macros just open up new worlds.

really nice man. the clarity, plant, tiny waves around the plant, all are amazing. the composition also works for me. overall, i think it's very good.

    Re: At the pond

I like this a lot for two reasons. (1) The impression of the leaf on the water is quite dramatic and enhances the feel. (2) The clarity on the drops of water on the leaf in question is also impressive with the light showing through the drops on the leaf.
    Shootme...
