    Dock

    Took this on a vacation in Eilat. I had my friends wait 10 minutes with me until the lighting was right.

    Great composition although I think you could crop a little from the bottom and I wish there was more detail below the horizon in the ships.

    Do you use a split neutral density filter?
    No, I DON'T need that.

    Thank you. No, not unless theres one that fits on my compact vivicam 4000 (still saving up for a DSLR). How's this crop?

    Much better, now the horizon is in a better place in the frame and a lot of darkness is removed from the foreground.

    BTW when I use my pocket digital I just hold my sunglasses over the lens if I want a polorized or split ND filter.

    I agree the crop works better. Perhaps a little earlier would have brought out more detail in foreground.
