Grand Canyon Sunset

On this picture, there are parts of me that like the fact the rim is a silhouette to contrast with the sky, but unfortunately it doesn't allow one to tell that it is the Grand Canyon. What do you all think? The first image is the uncropped original and the others are just different crops. The only changes have been unsharp masking.

I think there's too much dark foreground, so the second one is my favorite. It helps move your eyes more to the trees which are the main part of the picture.

You can't tell its the Grand Canyon, but it's still a very nice shot :)

Yes, I agree the second one is best. too much foreground in the original and the crop in the second is where it looks best , imo.

I like the second one as well, with the less foreground. What beautiful colors. I will admit that by the title I was hoping to see the canyon though! LOL!
