    Good Bye Kiss

Shot on a local train platform in Philly, light snow was falling. Glad I had my little P&S with me.
    C&C please...

Very nice grab, seems just a wee bit oversharpened though

I love the idea of the photo, I know if that were me kissing my man goodbye, I would love it! I also like the framing of the train into the photo. I struggle with the processing, perhaps like PP stated because it is oversharpened. Very nice!

    Re: Good Bye Kiss

I took this image with a P&S at approx. 70 feet away. Converted to B&W, crop and some (not a lot) unsharp mask. I was looking for the overall mood and story of the photo and the leading lines of the train. IQ was not a primary concern here.
    Thanks for the comments.

    Re: Good Bye Kiss

Its a great moment and the silhouettes next to the silvery train is a sweet deal. I agree about the IQ and would not mind if it were grainy or not tack sharp, but the halos and apparent over sharpening are pulling this one back a bit.
I'd also feel that a bit more room above and to the left would be better...slightly looser crop overall.
Well done, the moment is grand and the setting very good.

Nice usage of the P&Ser NKP. At first I thought this was at the Vietnam Memorial wall or something Good composition. They're pretty dark but the shape works.
