    Talking Macro Flower Sucess?

    I reshot the flower one more time... and finally got what i wanted. What do you all think?

    Well done. I like the color version best, in this case. The sun nicely lights up the leaves of the flower, making them a bit transparant. Composition is also strong.

    Much better, your persistance paid off. I too love the transparency in the petals, and each version has it's own strengths. Well done!

    I like the first version better. It has a tighter crop on the bottom which I feel works best. Additionally, there appears to be more detail in the brightly illuminated area on the right. I think the small shadow in the upper right most corner is distacting, due to it's harsh transition which contrasts the soft graduation of the shadow on the upper left. Nice work.

    Thanks for the replys (and thanks for helping me out with all three versions chunk and photogimp), the lighting is actually all artifcial it is a desk lamp and two mirrors in my bathroom that has no window
