    Frozen Harbour

    I have almost no interest in white vignettes but I thought I try it on this BW and I like it. I would be interested in your opinion ...especially the question "does the water look like ice or sand, or something else?"

    I think it looks like snow

    was it foggy or is it the white vignette to the side of the images ?

    Snow will do :-) The blurr / white is from the vignette effect only ...

    To me, it looks mostly like concrete with a puddle in the low area on the left. The shot's interesting from an effect standpoint. I do like the white tint, the glowing effect... neat stuff. It is a little sterile wrt subject, but I have the exact same problem (worse actually) when photographing boats. I like the row homes.

    Wow, that is a really cool shot. Reminds me old London or something. Distinct contrast with the houses.
