    Bleachers Entrance

Forgive me for all the Yankee Stadium photos but with the last game being played today I can't help but spend time with my shots of the stadium.

Here's something we'll probably never see again. 25 years ago I used to regularly go to The Stadium on game day and get a ticket for the bleachers for $5.00.

I don't usually think about processing images in black and white. Does this shot work as a monochrome?

Has that nostalgic feeling. I think what you have is good, but that context is missing. I think I would show more of the surroundings. Maybe you have it, but cropped it out (the format you have here is square)? Try posting the orig, inquiring minds want to see.

I have two shots of the same signs.

I didn't think having the crowd in the shot actually helped it. A word is worth a thousand pictures, or something like that.

I'd like to hear some alternatives.

    Thanks!

I think the original B&W is good
Clone out the security camera and it's timeless.

I agree with SmartWombat. At first I was inclined to see the original as well, but the b&w is much more profound, and the people in the original shots don't add anyhting special. They're two completely different pictures, and I like the overall feeling in the first much more.

The repetition is wonderful, and stands out much better with the first. There is only attractive shapes and geometry in it. The stark lines of black and white created by the pillars become something other then pillars.

Just one thing I would do with it, the top and the left side starts to drop out a little bit, burning it in would bring it back and hold in the composition more.

    Great image.
