    Foggy water morning.

It was so calm and foggy that you couldn't tell where the water ended and the sky started.

    Re: Foggy water morning.

The image is great other than the pose, I would prefer to see the paddle being used.

Isn't it a cool thing in nature that the colours never seem to clash...

I have no issues with you editing my photos

Excellent shot! Should make a nice large print. Kind of wish the oar wasn't blocking subjects face.

Except for the position of the paddle, this shot is as good as they get.
Maybe do a b/w of it?

Not bad, but in this instance I think the color adds a lot.

    Paddle being used.

I think it loses a lot of feeling.

    Re: Foggy water morning.

The second one loses feeling because the perspective is different, the viewpoint is from much higher. It's not the paddling that changes it. There's no feeling of "What is this that's emerging from the mist??!?!"

I much prefer the first image, but would like to see the oar somewhere else, either being used, or standing like that but alongside his face. The pose is just too unnatural for what he's doing.

(I almost pulled over and shot something similar the other day. We had a heavy fog but it was about 30 feet up, and clear air underneath. A cell tower I was driving past just faded to gray as your eye went up with it.

But I was at work, no time to play, had things to do and people to see.)

    Re: Foggy water morning.

    Came back to look...again.
This capture is all about "the mood" I can clearly see that the woman is not in a pose. Her relaxed stance is all about balance, not making any waves.Standing this tall in a boat is a feat in itself, for me anyway. Just my thoughts...
Great feedback , follow up here.I liked studying this excellent shot.Thanks.

    Re: Foggy water morning.

Either image works fantastically in color. Don't like the b/w. I don't mind where the oar is in the first one - at all.

    Photo(s) of the week (IMHO).
