Yeah color for me as well. The struggle was worth the effort. Nicely done.

    Color !

the B&W can certainly improve if you add an orange filter , so the glitter of the gold colors is not lost

I like them both to be honest...the color one does "pop" a little more than the B&W. Great angle and content within the photos. What do you use to post process? If you have something like LR, I would suggest increasing the settings to increase the richness of colors in the first photo and on the second one play around with the shadows and highlights and use a filter like an orange filter and both of them will pop just that much more.

    Why the struggle? :D

(And while we're on the subject of post-processing... is this, in fact, an HDR?)

    Very easily colour.

Detail is great. love the composition with the angel statue having almost the same point of view as the camera. and the church is pretty amazing looking.

I prefer the black and white though I would do some selective density changes on individual colors. For example, that top center area (arches or whatever they are called) should be a tad brighter I think. Nice work.

With a very small sensor and at ISO 800 the image noise was considerable, and it took a while of tweaking to get the right balance of noise reduction and sharpness. Secondly, I spend some time cropping and lens / perspective correcting because the original was not very straight. Color seems to be a little off too ...

And, to the other question ...this is not an HDR - single image only.

I liked both but the color just a bit more. Very nice shot however. Obviously, that isn't from Fredericksburg, VA. LOL.

Thanks. I actually misspelled it a little bit. It is Frederiksborg Castle in Denmark.

I choose the color. Very nice with excellent color and depth. My one problem is the 'line' formed all the way across the image (especially noticable in the B&W) that splits it dead center. It's like a dead center horizon.

Well, great job with the post processing!

On another note, I'm not sure if I'm seeing things, but is the image leaning every-so-slightly to the right?

Really nice image, all the same.

I also prefer the color one. It gives it that 'European' feel to it.

    Re: Fredricksburg Castle Chapel
I like the color version alot better, I find the BW version alittle too dull and murky.

    Very beautiful interior of castle.

There is just one small critique I would like to offer, I thought that if you are able to get closer to the statue, make it more of dominant foreground with wide angle lens, the picture would look more powerful.
And I do not quite like the stand of the statue, I am not sure what it looks like and it looks abit out of place there, I do not know if cropping out the stand of the statue will make it look better.
