    Fogy Morning

    Two photos which photo works the best the portrait or landscape. And any other thoughts.

    Both of these lack a center of interest to draw the viewer in however I suspect if enlarged really large they would make nice moody images.

    Of the two I like the lower better although I think the tree on the right needs to be cropped out. That would eliminate a distraction and move the sun to just about the right position to fit in with the rule of thirds and to my way of thinking provide a nice tension to the image.
    No, I DON'T need that.

    MB! thank you I will post the crop this evening. I use there monitors, at home (lcd) and the CRT at work on my desk the colors fine but the number three an LCD the colors looked desaturated. And I was after the moody image look.

    I think the landscape works better as there is too much sky in the portrait mode one.

    Here is the cropped and I did up the saturation, maybe too much?
