    You got your subject super sharp. I love how clearly you can see his....feet?...claws?....The only nitpick I have (Gosh, I feel hypercritical tonight!!) is the DOF. THe background is less than ideal and I think I would have preferred the image with less of it showing.

    I agree, the photo is super sharp but the deep DOF is a disappointment. Maybe one of those fancy PS filters can fix that?

    A Seagule (spelling??) will eat anything. There are like Pigeons in a city park, and can be pists.... The photo is cropped, and was taken zoomed out (telephoto) with a Olympus C-3030 so there is a lot of DOF

    I'm glad you said that!! I was gonna say that I wish you'd stepped back a bit. I like the idea here, the problem for me is that the bird fills the whole frame (well almost) and it doesn't offer a bit of breathing room. Any chance of seeing a wider crop?
