    ¿qué quieres?

took this while in my car, quick grab. let me know what you think .

title translates as 'what do you want?'

note: this guy wasn't as pissed at me as the photo shows. we have a common friend which i took to his neighborhood for a visit that was to last a few minutes, he was urging me to get out of my car to join him while i waited. which I did. but then as soon as i did the friend came back and we left. lol.

I like it a lot. The main subject's shirt and skin may be just a tad over-saturated. The image in the mirror is very nicely complimentary, with another guy in a yellow shirt walking away and the building color matching the hanging on the door.

Brilliant. Minus the hat, they almost look like the same guy. The main subject's facial details are somewhat obscured, but that's fine. Makes him all the more anonymous.

    Really great shot.

    Re: ¿qué quieres?

Wow, a lot happening here! I think it would be a better image if there were only three objects instead of four, but it still works. I also wish there were a little more detail on the fellow's face as so much of it is in shadow. And yeah, he does look upset, but your explanation makes me realize he just had a Que pasa? look on his face, like why are you still in the car? I don't know who's on that banner but I think I should. The color is a tad intense.

Nice shot overall. Was it in Mexico?

    Hello Liban
There is a good photograph here without the car mirror thing. Besides being unecessary I feel it makes the image too crowded. The mirror thing would work very well but in a different context elsewhere.
    Your shots are always interesting.

    Nice observations srblough. thank you.

    Thanks Seth.

GB, good observations. may i ask what three objects? or actually what four elements you would want reduced? i see guy, banner and mirror, which forth one do you see? the building? but i agree lots going on. lol. the guy is ché. the country is cuba. :-)

Tom, I was worried that this would be too busy for some. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

    Liban,

The fourth is that door on the wall in the bottom left. I thought I remembered that you visited Cuba. Che eh ...

Looks great ! I might crop a bit off the right but, still looks great as is. Like the two "worlds" in this image.

    Re: ¿qué quieres?

It is like the mix of two ages and worlds, looks like the mirror of a fairly recent car vs the aged building

I didn't know there were modern cars in Cuba

Other than the current comments I don't have additional ones

    Nice shot !!

    Re: ¿qué quieres?

Aah GB, I see what you're saying now. Thanks for the clarification.

    Thanks Greg.

    Thanks for the suggestion AE

Armando, yeah Cuba has both modern and old cars. Older ones are maybe a little bit more. The only thing cuba doesn't have are american cars post 1960's. everything else is there. I've seen a few brand new audi's, bmw's, benzs, etc.

    thanks!
