    Flamingo Bath

Took my new 1D Mark III out for a test run in AI-Servo mode. Was able to capture a series of a Flamingo's bath time.

Thank you for taking the time to look and comment, it is greatly appreciated

Exposure and details look good. I assume it's your artistic decision as far as the color saturation is concerned, otherwise, the red looks over-cooked. If this were mine, I would crop some off the right.

AE I honestly don't think this is artistic decision, as I said when you mentioned the same about my flamingo shot in the N&W forum, this is really how these birds look. I am a bit surprised to see the light pink on the top half, as I've never observed one in FL with this split coloration. I do agree that a right side crop would help this shot, but the color looks spot-on from here.

Nice shot Abiciriderback, these birds can be very fidgety.

All right. I have to admit I haven't seen a flamingo in real life, but I do see quite a few photos of them on other forums. Since you're in Florida, I suppose you're a better judge on the colors
