A Fishing Town

Liban, overall a nice shot. I like the tone, color and exposure. I do have a few nitpicks. The whole scene seems to be leaning a little to the left. This, coupled with the fact there is much more vegetation / boats on the right side of the image makes it feel unbalanced. I would suggest to try straightening it a little and perhaps even mirroring the image - so the composition flows from left to right (I know some folks don't like this, but just an idea). Also, there is a little bit of a strong vignette left in the upper left and right that could be removed.

Nice colors, but it's all a bit 'busy' for me. I'd like to crop away some from the left side. If you could catch the water perfectly smooth, giving a mirror reflection, that would add interest to me.

The ripples on the water do seem to add a bit of nervousness to the shot,
I don't mind the heaviness on the right as it makes the coast feel curved.
A bit of a tough crop I'd imagine..........:)

llew, yeah, i think flipping photos isn't good ;) I hadn't noticed the lean before. I'll correct that. thanks for all the suggestions.

I agree about the tilted feeling, and I think a minor rotation would eliminate that mast in the upper right too. I wouldn't want to lose any more on the left, as it seems to be just the right amount of "buffer" in front of the fishing boat. I like the tension created by the waves and REALLY like the fact that all the boats have blue accents, while all the buildings have yellow or orange accents (complimentary shades on the color wheel)
