Exclamation First Real Studio Shots, and First Paid Job! part 1

A man who owns his own producion company, saw some pictures of mine and offered me a job to take some portraits of him, needless to say I accepted. He had his own studio (the were video lights, but I made due) It was very exciting, as I had never taken anything in a studio before! I used a basic three light setup, on behind him to give him ( and especially his black camera - I was afraid it would get lost in the darkness) a nice shiny outline, one on his side at 45 degrees and a reflectore for fill light. I just finished it all today and he was very pleased! so here is part 1 -

i think they are good and well done on getting your first pro job. Did you shoot any with him focusing on something else apart from you ? it looks a bit unnatural i think he looks very intense. it does work in the bottom shots.

I actually shot over 100 pictures, and yes I did shoot some with him not looking at me, he then chose 7 pictures to edit, on of them he isn't focused on me, that will be in part 2...

I like the first one best. He looks calm and analytical, not as PO'd as he looks in the subsequent.
