First post in a while...B&W Church, Austria
I shot this with my F100 back in July while on a trip to Europe.
    TMAX 100
    f11 @ 1\60 sec
    Nikon 28-85 mm
Developed in Tmax and scanned with Epson 3170

I wanted to give the feeling of the church being larger than life and I wanted to make the viewer feel small and uneasy.

    Hi,
I like black and white shots of impressive buildings, and this one is a nice shot. Personally, I'd up the brightness a little (possible use the Shadow/Highlight tool in PS) and crop / clone out the thing in the bottom left. Other than that, I love the brooding nature of the picture and how much churches (in Europe at least?) are designed to literally put the fear of God into their subjects.

I just had a quick play in PS doing what I suggest above. I think it makes the image "pop" more. I hope you don't mind me playing with your image, please find it attached below.

    Cheers,
    Chris

    hey
thanks for looking and posting a reply. I have yet to get the procedure of shooting film, hand developing, scanning in to the computer, working in PS and printing or posting on computer.

I will take your advice and brighten the shot up a little.

    Thanks
