    Dolphin

Here is a dolphin doing some tricks in the water .

The background could be distracting because of the dof .
At that moment i couldn't got my settings ready for a shallower dof .

    Your comments will be appreciated.

    regards

I think you did good. These kind of shots are the hardest for me to take. I can NEVER get my settings ready in time and miss all the good shots. I don't find the background too distracting because It's the dolphins environment. Probably a view from the side of the dolphin would have let us see more of him but, hey, it's not like you can control how he jumps. The water looks good. Just one thing, You may have sharpened it a bit too much in ps because of the halo around his body. Nice vacation shot.

This is one of those shots that make you feel good when you look at them "Yessss! I Got It!" The animal itself does look a little over-sharp to me. I would agree with shesells that the dolphin looks oversharpened, but that should be an easy fix. I don't mind the background much, either. The large, ocean-going mammal holds my focus easily enough. The only other suggestion I might make would be to attempt to blend out the shadows of the animal's ribs a little to help with... how do I say this... the line of the animal? I think "Sleek" when I think dolphin, and the ribs sticking out make him look a little bumpy to me. That's my personal preference, though. For a fast action shot with little set up time, I think you did a nice job of framing and took a good pic!
